In this class you will learn about the process of pattern making and color selection for Portrait quilts.  This class involves applying layers on top of layers to create a portrait.  You will learn the cutting process to create a portrait and to position your fabric layers.  This workshop will be taught by Leo Ransom of Lion's Den Quilting.

Update 3/24/25, class supply list from the instructor:

*5-7 gradated fabrics from light to dark
*1 1/2 yards of Heat N Bond Lite, Wonder Under or double-sided fusible of your choice (Please, no Steam-A-Seam 2 Lite.  This fusible will make your project thick and difficult to quilt because of the layers.)
*Small Pointed Tip Scissors (I use Kai 5100 series with a curved tip)
*Fine Point Sharpie or Ink Pen
*Straight Pins (without the plastic balls or tips)
*Small Foam Core Board (that will accommodate an 11"x17" project)
