Welcome to the Austin Modern Quilt Guild!The Austin MQG’s mission is to support and encourage the growth and development of modern quilting through art, education, and community. Since 2012, we have provided educational programming, exciting events, and community outreach opportunities to our members.
Become a member
Membership in our guild is open to any individual interested in modern quilting! We have members of all skill levels, from brand new quilters to QuiltCon prize winners. Our guild does not discriminate based on the prospective member’s sex, gender identity, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability.

Hey AMQG Members, we need your feedback!Time to get down to business! We have updated some of our procedural policies & documents and we need your input. Please review these updated versions of our Policies & Procedures, ByLaws, and Code of Conduct and vote to approve these documents. A Voting Ballot Link will be sent to members in our next newsletter on February 25, 2026 and voting will close on the evening of our next Guild meeting on March 6, 2026. |

In- Person & Virtual BeesAMQG hosts in person and virtual (via Zoom) quilting bees and sew-ins.
