THE PERFECT FABRIC PULL Workshop:

COLOR MASTERY

Do you ever wonder why quilts don’t come out looking the way you envisioned when you chose the fabrics? In this no-sew class, students will re-train their brains and eyes to become masters of color, making the fabric pull process an intuitive and fun part of the quilt-making process. Using theory, color chips, coloring pages, and fabric play, you will learn to re-think color, gain color confidence, and be able to get the perfect fabric pull every time.

Using the Soup Bar quilt pattern, students will learn about best practices for choosing focal, supporting, and background colors and create a custom palette to make the perfect fabric pull.

Students will learn principles of color theory and harmonies, tricks to reflexively understand what colors work together, and how to translate that to fabric and choose the best pull for a project.
