At this month's meeting we will be celebrating and sharing all the goodness from QuiltCon!
Our member and MQG Director of Partnerships, Amanda Bernay will be joining us for a short question and answer session. So if you have ever wondered something about QuiltCon or the MQG, now is your chance to ask the expert. Feel free to ask your questions at the meeting or email them ahead of time to KC, our VP of Programming, programming@austinmodernquiltguild.com.
We will also showcase all the wonderful art our members make. So if you had a quilt submission to QuiltCon this year, accepted or not, if you created a bag, coat, or other wearable to bring to Raleigh, or if you participated in the Mini Swap, we would LOVE for you to bring your items to the meeting for a super special sew and tell! Photos are also welcome, if you don't plan to attend in person (email them to KC).
In addition, there will be time for members to share their highlights from QuiltCon. So if you are attending, remember what inspired you, lessons you learned, and fun new skills you gains, and bring those back to Austin to share with the guild!
Join us on March 7th at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin (4700 Grover Ave, Austin, TX 78756).
This meeting will have a Zoom option, so if you cannot be there in person, you can still attend virtually. Find the details for joining Zoom in your March newsletter that was delivered to your email.
