November Guild Meeting

For the November meeting, AMQG wants to help kickstart your handmade holiday gift projects! Our meeting will focus on all sorts of items that can be gifted from quilts to bags to home decor and more. In addition, we will give you ideas for reusable wrapping and a Quilter's Favorite Things wish list.

We would also love to hear from you! Do you have favorite patterns that you've made for gifts? Do you have a technique that you love for wrapping gifts in a low waste way? Is there a special notion (or several!) that you would just really love to receive from a special someone...or to treat yourself? We invite you to share your ideas with the guild, either by contributing to a special slide deck (click the button below) or by bringing your makes and their pattern information to the meeting for a special sew and tell/display table. 

There will be time for socializing and talking about patterns and gift ideas because we really just want our members to get in the holiday spirit and help inspire each other! Can't wait to see what you share!! 

Join us on November 2nd at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin (4700 Grover Ave, Austin, TX 78756). If you cannot be there in person, you can still attend virtually, as we will have the Zoom up and running.

And as always, we'll have our normal Sew and Tell with your wonderful finishes! We will no longer have a Sew and Tell slide deck for virtual submissions, so either bring your recent makes to the church to show in person or share virtually on the live Zoom.
